Brayden DeWitt is a candidate for Council in the Town of The Blue Mountains.
A lifelong resident of the community, Brayden works for the Wood Manufacturing Cluster of Ontario, where he helps manage memberships, programs, events, and industry initiatives. He also operates Oversight Administration, a consulting business that helps organizations improve processes, solve operational challenges, and work more effectively.
Brayden is running because he believes many of the concerns residents are raising come back to three simple questions:

Residents see projects being approved, taxes increasing, and money being spent, but they don't always see the reasoning behind those decisions. Brayden believes residents deserve straightforward explanations of major spending decisions, long-term financial planning, and the trade-offs involved in running a growing municipality.

Growth is happening across The Blue Mountains, but growth only works when infrastructure keeps pace. Roads, water, wastewater, stormwater systems, and other core services need to be part of the conversation before problems become more expensive to solve. Brayden believes infrastructure planning should be at the centre of major growth decisions.

The Blue Mountains should remain both a welcoming destination and a strong year-round community. That means supporting local businesses, maintaining community infrastructure, protecting what makes the area special, and ensuring future generations can continue to build their lives here.
At 25, Brayden understands that some voters may question his age and experience. He welcomes those conversations. He believes residents should judge candidates by their preparation, judgment, willingness to listen, and ability to contribute thoughtfully to Council decisions.
Brayden is running to bring straight answers, practical decision-making, and a long-term perspective to Town Hall.
