Meghan Loney is a Thornbury resident, youth and family advocate, small business owner, and experienced coach, facilitator, and evaluator in sport and recreation. Her work is rooted in bringing people together and turning ideas into action.

Across the Blue Mountains and surrounding area, Meghan has led youth and recreation initiatives, built partnerships across local organizations, advanced local environmental action, and created opportunities for people of different ages and experiences to participate, contribute, and belong.

Meghan is running for Council to bring a grounded, energetic, and collaborative voice to municipal leadership. She believes in asking good questions, making responsible decisions, supporting youth and families, protecting the natural places that define The Blue Mountains, and planning thoughtfully for growth and change—while keeping the long-term well-being of residents at the centre.
