“With 18 years of service in the Town of Blue Mountains (TOBM), combined with a strong background in accounting and auditing, I bring proven financial expertise and a deep commitment to our community.

In 1990, I successfully consolidated the accounting operations of nine Loblaws branches into a single, efficient system. For the past 30 years, I have been self-employed, refining my skills in managing operations, controlling costs, and delivering results.

As a single parent for 10 years, I understand the real-life pressures families face and the importance of responsible, compassionate governance. I am well-known throughout the community — both for the good I’ve done and for occasionally stepping on toes when necessary to get results. I am a hard worker, a friend to those who need help, and someone always willing to ask for help when it serves the public interest. I have no ego and believe in working collaboratively for the benefit of all residents.

If elected, I will bring common-sense leadership, fiscal restraint, and a relentless focus on accountability to the Town Council.

My Priorities for Council:

  • Stop the bleeding. I will apply rigorous analysis to every department — treating each as either a profit centre or a vital service — to ensure taxpayer dollars are spent wisely and effectively.

  • We must get the most value from our community assets, including the Arena, sports parks, marina, and surplus land.

  • I am known as someone who gets things done in all aspects of community life. I am not afraid to ask tough questions, and I have no hidden agenda.

  • Let’s study other communities that faced similar challenges to ours. We can learn from their mistakes and replicate their successes.

  • Our own residents include business leaders, builders, healthcare professionals, traffic planners, and many other experts. We should actively tap into this knowledge base.

  • Fixing the Bruce Street and Highway 26 corner is a top priority, along with addressing other pressing infrastructure and safety needs.
